The Merida Cold Therapy Mitts are designed to provide comfort during chemotherapy by delivering consistent cooling to the hands before, during, and after infusion.
A simple rotation system using regular ice helps maintain continuous cold temperatures, supporting a more comfortable treatment experience.
The kit includes:
- 1 Pair of Merida Cold Therapy Mitts
2 Sets of interchangeable gel packs
Note: Regular ice (not dry ice) is required and should be prepared in advance of treatment.
The specially designed gel mitts are cooled using regular ice (not dry ice) and rotated throughout treatment to maintain a consistent temperature.
One pair of mitts is used with two sets of gel packs, which are kept in a cooler with ice and swapped during the session to ensure continuous cooling of the hands.
This system is simple, practical, and does not require any specialized equipment.
